DESCRIPTION

The Mercury binding is designed for the all-mountain rider who needs supreme edge control and comfort balanced with a more manoeuvrable, medium stiff flex.

The Mercury will respond instantly to your every move thanks to SKATETECH technology that transfers your energy directly to your edges. The Mercury's Control Flex highback offers solid support while absorbing chatter and eliminating calf-bite. The Mercury can be set up in Surf mode or Freeride mode by switching bushing and swapping the Flip-It ankle straps. Surf mode offers maximum tweak-ability, Freeride mode offers maximum response. The Mercury features Hanger 3.0 and Power Spine Ankle Straps. The wide bottom section of the Power Spine Strap is softer for enhanced comfort and the center spine is stiffer for ultimate response.

Skate Tech
The NOW Skate Tech system works like a skateboard truck and enhances board control + reduces foot fatigue by transferring energy input directly from the binding to the board edges through a dynamic design.

Comfort Foam foot pillow
Full length EVA foam footbed that maximises binding comfort while minimising foot fatigue. The 3D moulded footbed surface offers supreme traction for any boot tread pattern and prevents snow build-up.

Nylon, recycled carbon post
The Post attaches the hanger to the kingpin and is the connection between binding and board. Made from nylon and recycled carbon, the post is super light and durable.

Flushcup technology
Free your feet and and feel true surf vibes by riding without a highback on the super deep powder days.

Features Freeride/Surf mode bushings
Bushings are the primary binding contact point and offer customisable response and dampening. Surf mode: soft bushing - white. Freeride mode: hard bushing - black.

Universal Mounting Disk - Compatible with 4x2, 4x4 and EST/Channel New
All Jones bindings include a mounting disc compatible with traditional 4x4 inserts, 2x4, and the EST/Channel mounting system.

Hanger 3.0 - Nylon reinforced with 30% fiberglass New
New binding hanger design featuring a wider bushing footprint that's closer to the edges for enhanced board connection and faster energy transfer. The Hanger 3.0 is also lighter weight and has a lower inner lateral wall for better ankle mobility and high volume boot fit.

3D Flex Fit toe straps
Low profile and grippy 3D Flex Fit toe straps that dynamically stretch to fit any shape boot. The spider web inspired design is comfortable, durable and responsive.

Asym buckles
Bombproof buckles made from aircraft-grade alloy featuring ultra-strong levers and springs. Triple action ratchet design increases speed of entry and release.

Tool-less strap adjustment
Change strap length on the fly with just a flick and twist of your wrist.

Intelligent straps
New Hinge Connectors keep your ankle strap out of the way when you step in to strap in, and the new Curved Ladders make it easy to line up the buckle and quickly ratchet down.

Power Spine ankle strap
New two-part moulded ankle strap with a wider bottom section for flexible comfort and a stiffer center spine for unmatched response. Flip-It Strap compatible (Freeride mode + Surf mode).

NEW Control Flex highback
Designed for balanced response and flex. Mid-wide profile and mid-stiff flex let you lock in turns or tweak airs.

Freeride mode VS Surf mode
Jones bindings offer customisable dampening and response by switching between Surf Mode and Freeride Mode. Surf Mode lets you tweak harder, while Freeride Mode keeps you locked in for maximum response. Switch modes by changing the bushings from soft (Surf Mode) to hard (Freeride Mode) and adjusting the Flip-It ankle straps. The Flip-It strap allows you to interchange the ankle straps between the left and right binding to create custom response.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your online or phone order of any full price item, you have the right to return that item for a refund or exchange within 30 days from the date of invoice. Sale items cannot be refunded if you change your mind. You can however return them for an exchange or an in store credit.

Before returning anything please contact us via phone or email to get a return authorisation (RA) and Returns Form. The item/s must be sent back in the condition you received it and with the original packaging in resalable condition, including manufacturer tags.
