As Smooth and Buttery as It Gets

We dug into our full bag of tricks to develop the Burton 3D Family Tree Channel Surfer Snowboard. The result of extensive rider collaboration and on-snow testing, it blends edge control with a surfy freedom that translates to a catch-free and buttery feel from tip to tail. The board rolls into turns with ease no matter which direction you are riding for a fluid feel in all snow conditions.

    FEATURES:

    • 3D Shaping
      Surfboard-inspired convex shaping in the tip and tail with a traditional base through the middle blend edge control and surfy freedom for a catch-free tip and tail.
    • All-Mountain Versatility and Speed
      Its directional shape keeps you carving around the mountain, while directional camber adds stability at speed.
    • Lightweight Feel
      Super Fly® 700G Core is a dual-species wood core that is loaded with pop and reduces overall weight without limiting performance.
    • Snappy Pop
      45° Carbon Highlights from tip to tail deliver snappy pop without the stiff side effects.
    • Freeride Focus
      Family Tree boards are designed to feed the freeride mindset, and the 3D further expands what’s possible with a fluid feel in all conditions.

     

    TECH:

    • Directional Shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition

    • 25mm Taper promotes floating and turning with a shorter width on the tail that drops it down and a wider width at the nose that pops it up

    • Directional Flat Top Bend features a flat profile overall with a rocker nose for the stability and effortless float perfect for deep days on surfy terrain

    • Directional Flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions

    • Sintered WFO Base infuses specially formulated wax deep into the pores of the extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material, making it ultradurable for riding all season in any condition

    • Infinite Ride, Pro-Tip, Squeezebox, Super Sap
