DESCRIPTION

The ultimate carving twin, it will exceed your expectations. Combining innovation and style, it features an asymmetrical twin, incorporating the asymmetrical MidBite into the opposing sidecut specs. We’ve added a full carbon fiber construction, allowing us to use the lightest woodcore.

PRODUCT DETAILS

DESIGNED FOR: Intermediate - Expert / All-Mountain, Freestyle

    SHAPE: Asymmetrical True Twin

    FLEX:  4/5 Medium stiff

    BASE: Sintered

    CAMBER PROFILE: CamRock

    BINDING MOUNT: 4x2 12-pack

    FEATURES:

    CamRock
CamRock is a profile that combines the best of both camber and rocker technologies. The shorter camber section underfoot provides stability and pop, while the rocker in the nose and tail elevates the tips, offering a more forgiving ride and improving float in powder. This design ensures versatility across various terrains. Depending on the specific rocker design, CamRock can be tailored to be directional, enhancing control in one direction, or a twin for a centered profile.

    Asym Twin
An asym twin board is a uniquely designed board that enhances performance by addressing the natural differences in a rider’s heelside and toeside turns. While it maintains a true twin shape, meaning the nose and tail are identical in length and flex, it introduces asymmetry in the sidecut or flex pattern to improve control and balance. The heelside of the board typically has a deeper or tighter sidecut radius compared to the toeside, making heelside turns easier and more precise. This design creates a more natural and comfortable ride, allowing for better edge hold and smoother transitions between turns. By enhancing the dynamics of turning and carving, it provides a balanced, fluid experience on both edges, making it a versatile choice for riders who want a board that performs in all conditions.

    Asym MidBite
Tighter turns and effortless heel edge Asym MidBite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of a wider nose & tail. The design steps a single section of each sidecut inward between the insert packs. This single long disruption of the sidecut between the bindings creates a narrower waist width, providing quicker edge-toedge response. The Heel edge side of the board has an even narrower radius than the toe edge. Providing the rider with a tighter turn requiring less power to engage. This balances out the energy needed to do a heel edge turn or a toe edge turn. Meanwhile, from your bindings out to the end of the sidecut we maintain a wider board width that improves float in pow and is a stable platform for popping, spinning, and landing on any snow type. An asymmetrical sidecut radius features different turning radii on the heel and toe edges.

    Vortex core
LAMINATED STRIPS OF PAULOWNIA + POPLAR INSERT BLOCKS & RAIL STRINGERS
#YES Snowboards' "Vortex core" features a wood core made of laminated strips of Paulownia with Poplar insert blocks for solid inserts and rail stringers for edge stability. Paulownia offers lightweight performance and excellent pop, while Poplar adds density and durability. This is our lightest and most performant core.

    Carbon Construction
Carbon construction on a snowboard refers to having carbon fiber integrated into the board's construction. Carbon fiber is known for its strength-to-weight ratio, providing stiffness without adding significant weight. When strategically woven all along the lenght and width of the board. This results in enhanced control, increased pop, and improved energy transfer, making the snowboard more suitable for aggressive riding, carving, and maneuvers.

    Sintered Base
Sintered bases are crafted by fusing tiny polyethylene particles under heat and pressure, creating a porous, durable surface. Known for superior speed and wax absorption, these bases are favoured by advanced riders for their high-performance capabilities in various snow conditions.
